The Australian dollar recovered from its early lows against the other major currencies in the Asian session on Monday.
The Australian dollar recovered to 0.8160 against the U.S. dollar and 97.41 against the yen, from early lows of 0.8131 and 97.26, respectively. At last week's close, the aussie was trading at 0.8140 against the greenback and 97.26 against the yen.
Against the euro, the aussie edged up to 1.5002 from an early low of 1.5039. The pair closed Friday's trading at 1.5012.
Moving away from an early low of 0.9444 against the Canadian dollar, the aussie edged up to 0.9469.
If the aussie extends its uptrend, it is likely to find resistance around 0.82 against the greenback, 98.58 against the yen, 1.48 against the euro and 0.95 against the loonie.
