Austria's producer prices decline accelerated moderately in November, after easing in the previous month, preliminary figures from Statistics Austria showed Tuesday.
Industrial producer prices fell 1.1 percent year-on-year in November, after a 1.0 percent decline in October. In September, prices dropped 1.2 percent. Producer prices have been falling since February 2013.
Prices in the energy sector plunged 3.9 percent annually during the month and those of intermediate goods declined by 0.6 percent.
On a monthly basis, producer prices slid 0.2 percent in November, following a 0.1 percent fall logged in the prior month. It was the second consecutive monthly decline.
