The Canadian dollar strengthened against the other major currencies in the Asian session on Tuesday.
The Canadian dollar rose to 103.39 against the yen and 1.4205 against the euro, from yesterday's closing quotes of 103.18 and 1.4215, respectively.
Against the U.S. and Australian dollars, the loonie edged up to 1.1614 and 0.9440 from yesterday's closing quotes of 1.1625 and 0.9452, respectively.
If the loonie extends its uptrend, it is likely to find resistance around 104.82 against the yen, 1.40 against the euro, 1.15 against the greenback and 0.941 against the aussie.
