The Canadian dollar strengthened against the U.S. dollar and the euro in the Asian session on Wednesday.
The Canadian dollar rose to a 9-day high of 1.1586, from yesterday's closing quote of 1.1609.
Against the euro, the loonie edged up to 1.4095 from yesterday's closing quote of 1.4113.
If the loonie extends its uptrend, it is likely to find resistance around 1.14 against the greenback and 1.39 against the euro.
