Italy's foreign trade surplus with Non-Eu countries in November increased from a year ago, as exports grew faster than imports, preliminary figures from the statistical office Istat showed Monday.
The trade surplus rose to EUR 2.7 billion in November from EUR 2.3 billion in the same month last year year. In October, the surplus was EUR 4.02 billion.
Exports advanced 2.6 percent year-on-year in November and imports rose only marginally by 0.1 percent.
At the same time, exports fell a seasonally adjusted 1.8 percent monthly in November, while imports climbed 1.9 percent.
