Malaysia's producer prices declined in November from a year ago, figures from the Department of Statistics showed Wednesday.
The domestic producer price index fell 1.2 percent year-on-year in November and remained unchanged from the previous month.
Producer prices for local production declined 1.8 percent annually during the month. Prices in the mining and quarrying sector plunged 15.5 percent, while utility sector prices climbed by 6.2 percent. Month-on-month, the PPI for local production dropped by 0.2 percent.
Meanwhile, import prices rose 0.3 percent from the previous year and edged up 0.1 percent from last month.
