Spain's producer prices registered decline for the fifth consecutive month in November and at the fastest pace since last February, the statistical office INE said Tuesday.
Producer prices were down 1.5 percent year-on-year in November, faster than the 1.2 percent decrease seen a month ago. This was biggest fall since last February and also marked the fifth consecutive annual fall.
On a monthly basis, producer prices slid 1.1 percent versus a 0.8 percent drop in October. This was the sharpest fall since January 2014.
Year-on-year, energy prices decreased 5.4 percent in November and prices of consumer goods and intermediate goods slid 0.1 percent and 0.6 percent, respectively. On the other hand, capital goods logged an annual growth of 0.6 percent.
